It's official, John Ellis Bush is suspending his campaign. Buh-bye, Jeb.

The Republican party is so freakin' dysfunctional that politicians like Jeb? and Kasich simply don't have a party any longer. For that matter, neither do the "Conservadems". As the Tea Party pulls the Republicans farther to the right and Bernie, Elizabeth Warren and other less well known candidates line Donna Edwards pull the Democrats farther to the Left, it may be that a centrist party like the "Lib Dems" will emerge, drawing the Kasichs and the Manchins to it.

JEB wasn't going to win, the players want to free up his $$$ and support to work against Trump.

Exactly.

Kasich would be getting the same sort of pressure from his big donors if he had any.

Is this the end of the GOP?

No one is conservative enough so the right wing picks a real estate mogul who has fascist tendencies.

I think so. I don't mean the party will implode next week or even next year but it will implode and historians will look back on this campaign as the point at which that became inevitable. The problem is we're in for some really hairy "wounded animal" type shit between now and the end.

I wonder what happens to all that cash in his "Right to Rise" PAC?

I think there must be at least $50 million left.

Well, it's the Super-PAC's money, see? With Jebya out of the way, they can spend it on behalf of another candidate.

Mussolini wasn't all that bad until he started hanging with Adolf. If Trump becomes #45 we'll just have to keep him away from Vlad.
