Boston Marathon Bombing

I would think that an OWS type would've chosen a different target. They don't strike me as that type, BH. I would expect something more of a corporate related target than the Boston marathon. They've never shown themselves to be particularly violent, as far as I know. That huge bronze statue of a bull in Manhattan would be more their speed.

My guess, since we're spitballin' here, is that they are some crazy gun rights, anti-tax, anti- government, anarcho-redneck type. They sure have been wound up by the likes of lil' Wayne and shit fer brains types like Louis Gomert.

I dunno if they look like the typical muslim extremist type. Could be though. We'll see what happens when and if they track them down. My guess is that they are holed up somewhere in the U.S., otherwise the FBI would have already known they had left the country, unless they swam to Canada or elsewhere....

Why would they hit the Boston Marathon granting even the supposition that they would be involved in such a thing?

The suspects appear to be young. My first reaction was domestic terrorism but maybe it has a foreign element. They could be Americans tied to an overseas group or even from another country. They look like college students to me.

The fact that no overseas terrorist group has claimed responsibility could be an indication of the fear that Obama would have no qualms about using drones to attack any group who is guilty of this horrendous crime.

Nope. I watch very little TV aside from sporting events, History, and Discovery. I did watch "Young Turks" a couple of times on your recommendation.

The point is that no one knows what their purpose was. Hell, they could have been pissed because the marathon route made them move their cars. My shot at OWS was just in response to the left's penchant for knee jerk associating such acts with so-called right extremists.

The OWS people's worst crimes were having drum circles, waving their hands in the air and occasionally defecating in public. Not to mention some occasionally tacky costumes.

We will soon find out since one has been killed. Sadly, they killed an MIT police officer.

PS: MSNBC is reporting that they are foreign terrorists, but no one has stated their nationality. I'm thinking Pakistani.
