this has been a funny thread. On both sides... had me laughing...Both candidates flipflop. So you really cant say. OMG look at this flip flopper. I was hoping santorum would have gotten the nomination. If not then paul. "sigh"

I owned a '72 one of those in the mid 80's. It had the exploding gas tank and you couldn't get it to go much over 45mph which was pretty scary if someone got behind you... of course after a while the brakes didn't work anyway so there was no risk of stopping short. I had ambitions to take a blow torch and cut the roof off making it into a homemade convertible, but I gave it away before getting around to that. I did have a bottle opener (one of those ones that you secure to the side of a house) screwed into the dash which was pretty convenient for riding around with road pops. I believe the
'73 was much improved though
