I'm still waiting to hear all the great things that Obama has done. There is a reason he will not be running on his record.[/QUOTE]

First black man to occupy the WhiteHouse (and boy does that grate on some arses).

I do know that if Obama had any real integrity (of course he does not) he'd have recused himself months ago from running again, if not to help the country (which he doesn't seem to give a shit about) but at least in order to give a better Democrat a shot at office to maybe help the party, the country and the advancement of his supposed ideals.
So what is the alternative? A party dedicated to making the rich richer, and the poor poorer?

BTW if you consider your posts conversational may I recommend the purchase of the Oxford English Dictionary. I think the word you were looking for is rant.

I don't think many conservatives are currently against most of the civil rights and limits on law enforcement that came from the Warren Court. Roe and Doe were, IMHO, the cases that really caused the problem. My problem with the PPACA is that if it's upheld there is no limit to Federal power; and that, certainly goes against the premise of a limiting document such as our Constitution.

I find it interesting that limiting gov't power is activism

The way things have been going for the past few months.

Indiffinent detention? Government power.
Execution of American citizens without due process? Government power.
Mandatory strip searches? Government power.
Fill the skies with drones? Government power.

Mandate that the masses must have healthcare? HOW DARE THEY! THEY SURE HAVE OVERREACHED THIS TIME.
