Trump would add twice as much to national debt as Harris, study finds

Quote:
Trump has called for extending his 2017 tax cuts, which would add more than $5 trillion over 10 years to the United States’ $35.7 trillion national debt, according to a study from the nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB). His plan to end taxes on overtime wages, Social Security benefits and tips would add another $3.6 trillion in debt. And his call for a nationwide campaign to detain and deport undocumented immigrants would cost $350 billion.

Trump says major new tariffs on imports would bring in enough revenue to offset all the tax cuts, but the study doesn’t support that claim, and many economists say the tariffs would also drive prices up for U.S. consumers.
Do any MAGAts understand the implication? Doubt it. Also any tariff is paid for by the consumer (end user0 and what other mechanism is there or who else is going to pay for it?

As usual, Republicans wreck the economy while the Democrats rebuild it.

Here is another book by Woodward, officially to be released mid October but excerpts are already in.

Quote:
“Trump was the most reckless and impulsive president in American history and is demonstrating the very same character as a presidential candidate in 2024,” Woodward writes in the book, “War,” which is set to be released Oct. 15.
Here is another tidbit from the book, which should incense everyone but doubt it will.

Quote:
As the coronavirus tore through the world in 2020, and the United States and other countries confronted a shortage of tests designed to detect the illness, then-President Donald Trump secretly sent coveted tests to Russian President Vladimir Putin for his personal use.

Putin, petrified of the virus, accepted the supplies but took pains to prevent political fallout — not for him, but for his American counterpart. He cautioned Trump not to reveal that he had dispatched the scarce medical equipment to Moscow, according to a new book by Washington Post associate editor Bob Woodward.

Putin, according to the book, told Trump, “I don’t want you to tell anybody because people will get mad at you, not me.”
Traitor Trump, a title well deserved.

No president in the history of the USA has worked against Americas interests more than Trump.

Laws don't matter

When it comes to MAGA assholes

https://www.wcvb.com/article/trump-l...tower/62585979

The Massachusetts town of Hanson specifically prohibits ANY of this type of political advertising on town property......

I hope they call in an airstrike on the jerk projecting this

“The Hanson Police Department is aware of a political image that is being projected onto a town water tower and is looking into the matter,"

Translation: We'll get around to it eventually.

Yep, the cops apparently are fine with it, I wonder if they'd be so caviler about it if it was a Harris sign

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-202...l?guccounter=1

I'd love to see a neighbor have the balls to project a Harris sign onto the house of the Trump sign loser......

From the quoted article;

"Hanson Police said they don’t endorse any political candidate or party being projected on town property. They said it’s not a crime because it isn’t causing property damage and it’s not trespassing because it’s being projected from private property."

It's conversion. They are appropriating the use of property not theirs for their own purposes, though not taking unlawful possession of it.

I agree 100%, , , and I've thought this through completely, I also wouldn't be happy if it was a Harris sign either. Either way, it's guerrilla advertising;

"I'm gonna put MY message in YOUR face whether YOU like it or not."

Replusive behavior that seems to be the exclusive proclivity of the MAGA crowd
