I got it today...at first I though a channel was gone but I did not have the 12AX7 pressed in the socket all the way. The guy who modded it put in some inputs on the back but the top ones still work too. Looks like the power supply was by passed and the coupling caps were replaced. My batteries died on the digital camera I will post that pic later.
not bad for just a buck twenty-five....especially with the 5U4 Sylvania coke bottle...the 6bq5s were made in Holland

Dude, that is sweet! With one 6BQ5 a side, she should be pumping out a rockin' 6, maybe 7, watts.
Holland could mean Amperex, Philips or Mullard Heerlen.

The name on that 6BQ5 means little. I don't think Motorola ever made their own. It is either a Philips or an Amperex. I have a Motorola branded 12BH7. It's a Sylvania. I can tell by the curved plates.

Well who knows if people pay that.....
anyway here is the inside....I think this amp is from an AKer...it is nice when everything is plug and play the Weller gets old after awhile and this guy is really better than me Btw Don I am beginning to think my old Fisher 440t amp I did a shotgun recap on sounds better than my Jolida....maybe this tube thing is overrated lol the Maggies I think are really nice sounding for the most part....for price you cannot go wrong....and those amps were built to last.
