No, KPTV has more news than any indy station I have ever seen. I have always wondered about the breakdown on FOX. The national FOX news has a serious GOP bent, but the local indy FOX TV stations come from a completely different place. KPTV is as skewed to the left as any station I have seen. Of course, being a Portland station, its audience is as left as it comes. There is rarely much coverage of the east side of the state, which is predominantly right.

On another note, there is a gripe to be had with the fed Government in this situation, but it isn't a gripe that should be handled by out of state terrorists coming and taking matters into their own hands. In my eyes, while it may bring media attention to what the family has been going through for the last few decades, it puts such a negative spin on it that it will more likely hurt them more than it could possibly help. I can see why the family and many locals wanted nothing to do with it.

The militia cares little about the family. It craves more photo ops.
It would not surprise me if some of these guys are connected with the gun
industry.

Photo ops to promote the sale of assault rifles.
