I received the DVD of "The Three Pickers", (Doc Watson, Rickie Skaggs, and Earl Scruggs) on Saturday. Allison Krauss joins them in an acapella version of "Down to the River" that is worth the price of admission by itself.

Those 3 cats can certainly pick. All have been long time favorites of mine, having seen them many times each. All three may very well be the best there is on their respective instruments (with Rickie on mandolin) within their respective styles. I've been a Doc groupie for over 40 years.
