Kottke didn't disappoint last night. He won over the friends we took with us.

Someone I'd like to see live. Unfortunately, there are no SoCal venues on his 2012 tour. How large is the Uptown Theater?

Ooops, he is coming to San Diego. He'll be playing at Anthology for two dates. Sometimes I do pay a price for locking down my web browser. Now it's time to check availability and prices.

Over the thirty-something years I've been following his career, Leo has aged a bit. Funny, I haven't.

Sorry for the blurry pics. I was in the balcony and using exposures of from .25 seconds to .06 sec.

WQXR 105.9 Mhz NY/NJ: Live at the Metropolitan Opera

Manon: by JULES MASSENET

Excellent reception and sound using a Sony 6060F receiver.
I always love Massenet.

Rob,

Where do you get your tapes from? Or have you had them since new?

Dave

Right now it is Rafael Kubelik, Berlin Philharmonic - Wagner - Siegfried Idyll, Die Meisterzinger von Nurnberg, Tristan und Isolde, Prelude and Liebestod.

My Teac X-1000R has no problems with treble

Turn the box over and read the large print and see the Prelude to Act 1 of Lohengrin followed the siegfried Idyll
