Doesn't matter, it appears to be backfiring anyway. Polling suggests Orbán will lose. It will be interesting to see what happens after that.

Orban has been in power for a long time. It is natural there might be a yearning for change. At least there is and were elections. A check of other states is enlightening.

Orban did Europe a favor. He was the first to install major physical barriers against the hordes of military aged men coming from conflict zones.

Orban is a realist. He early recognized Europe's situation re affordable energy and deindustrialization.
Check the dumb Germans; turned off their nuclear power stations before putting in place other sources of energy.

Although I´m on the fence on Nuclear Power, and I think we should have let the Reactors run their

normal lifespann, we "dumb" Germans have enough power, and blackouts are basically unheard of

over here.

And the price? The amount and price of power forced Germany to transfer certain industries, especially chemical, to China.

Orban was hammered for trying to accommodate affordable energy and trying to facilitate Chinese industry.

Orban was rightly hammered for shutting down the free press, shutting down freedom of expression at universities, being a dictator, white supremacist and all-around dickhead. He's a horrible model for democracies.

The usual thrown at leaders who are not playing ball. Orban main crime: He was providing an opening for the Chinese to enter the heart of Europe. And eventually what happened? Everybody is heading to China.
