The Era of Trump?
Now that it looks to be a term to be used in the future world to describe our time.
What to expect ahead behind......
Just how will his reign effect the children now and to be born?
I see his persona having a great influence on the action of those in their fordable years. Taking on the habits and actions of his, those allowed and condoned by the current followers and enablers.
A rash deregulation of many safety measures protecting the country. I fear the most for the financial ones. Can one imagine the 401K's being depleted due to a removal of safe guards.....

While Trump will stay busy with his vendettas, the GOP will certainly loosen regulations, toss out green energy mandates, cut social spending like never before especially if they keep the House, public schools will begin to look like parochial schools and Obama's name will be stricken off Obamacare. It will be called Trump Care regardless of what form it takes.
And tax cuts? One more round and will make the last one permanent. Estimates of up to $8 Trillion added to our deficit with tax cuts to the oligarchs and businesses. SALT will be tossed aside, more tariffs imposed on Chinese imports to offset tax cuts, China has huge manufacturing base that needs to be fed, so will they cut prices to offset tariffs? Southern border will be shut down, how effectively remains to be seen. Sanctuary cities will be challenged and federal tax distribution held back.
Musk will become even more powerful than Trump and will play him like a fiddle. How much of the Federal government will be cut is any one's guess and they do not care.
Free MAGA hats for everyone? Don't bet on it.

The Trump Era began in the 1990's with "The Real World" and fully blossomed with "Jersey Shore."
America has been shown that it is the jerks and asswipes that get the attention and adulation now: everybody wants to be Snookie, so we vote for that stuff.
Doubling down when being exposed is the new norm, there is no longer shame.
I don't think we bounce back from this.
Policy decisions will be based on whether or not a plan can make people unhappy in order to improve the relative happiness of the idiots Trump serves.
No way we can get rid of our own oligarchy: Musks, Bezos, Zuck, etc.
People like Peter Thiel wil help oversee undermining rights for gay people, and he can hide behind his vast wealth.
The middle class is about to get crushed via tariffs, loss of health care access, the ongoing strangulation of unions...we all gotta work hard to make sure we just sneak in above those poor people. Luckily, they can supplement their incomes picking vegetables or hammering nails after Trump purges the unworthies.

Gee—I thought the left idolized Elon Musk. Oh, BTW, before he entered politics, a lot of democrats thought rather highly of Trump. I vehemently disliked Trump for decades, but after seeing the closed minded attacks on freedom propagated by the left, together with the outright name calling, I changed my mind. Evidently, a lot of people feel the same way.

Stating facts is not name calling.
Like if I say Trump is a criminal, that is a fact.
If I say Trump is a pathological liar, that is a fact.
The evidence is overwhelming.

An example of just where we are at in this country.
A moment ago at the Y a Trump support was railing about his Grand Daughter's car being keyed due to comments made on FB.
Took me a minute to figure she had posted negative Trump posts. Ask him "just how was this her fault". "Seems the bad guys were the ones who keyed her car".
Wait for it.....
His response she shouldn't be saying that type of stuff. It was her fault it happened....
Reminded him about what free speech was.

Translation: Stupid ideas on the Far Left hurt my feelings. I now, therefore, support a sexual predator, fraudster, felon and fascist.
Brilliant.
