A Trump employee who monitored security cameras at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate abruptly retracted his earlier grand jury testimony and implicated Trump and others in obstruction of justice just after switching from an attorney paid for by a Trump political action committee to a lawyer from the federal defender’s office in Washington, prosecutors said in a court filing Tuesday.

Good move. Getting caught lying in front of a grand jury would carry some serious time in the pokey, I'd think. I'd hate to play chess with Jack Smith. Hell, I wouldn't play backgammon with that guy. He'd own my house and firstborn.

Among the first to get smart about getting out from under Trump's shyster incompetent attorneys was Cassidy Hutchinson. When will others see this? Who can say? Trump is a billionaire, who has run up a bit over $70 million in legal fees, and yet he is advertising for donations, that will not go toward his election or the election of any other fascist Republican politicians. It's going toward his legal bills...how fucking stupid can Republican voters be? And it appears that a whole bunch of the legal bills aren't being paid anyway. The first of the 18 others who have been indicted in Georgia who has complained about receiving no financial help from the Trump PACs with her legal bills is shyster/incompetent attorney Jenna Ellis, now facing criminal conspiracy charges. Apparently many of them are pissed off about this, but so far Ellis is the only one with the guts to say something about it.
