Read the Reich piece. Trump is fascism, that is, racism and bullying due to toxic male attitudes. It's pre-rational, which is why a poor thinker like Trump still has strong clear ideas about what it is that he wants. And surprise, at least half the population can go pre-rational too! Its a good piece. Most of the pieces by Reich are good pieces. Another good piece is Madeleine Albright's book, "Facism: A Warning" which came out about halfway into the orange shitgibbon's term.

Looking at history and how easy Fascists take over in the vast majority of time. Spain and others had the prolonged end due to it being a influenced from the outside. Yet the Democratic countries in the end lose interest. Costs and will...
Face it, the overwhelming fact, people will choose capitulation. Hoping they will not be effected or it will not be that bad. Turning on their neighbors friends family with ease in the vast majority.

The Fascists know this all to well.

Just for grins, I tuned into Fox News to see their reaction to this report and they had Matt Whitaker, former acting MAGA Attorney General, bemoaning its effect on police.

The group behind many/most of the book bans, Moms for Liberty, put out a newsletter to the community in which they deliberately featured a Hitler quote.

I imagine they will try to explain that this is quoted to show the Nazi-like danger from the 'woke left.' But which side is 'burning books' now?
