That is very chilling. Points 10 and 11 an unwelcome surprise, I'd forgotten that 'unit rule' applies to the state delegations in a House of Representatives vote. Best hope if this plays out is to delay the House vote until the new House organizes itself, presumably on Jan 4th.

If vote is taken earlier with existing house membership, we'd need to flip at least two key Republican members, to flip two closely-balanced state delegations. There might well be a number of lame ducks willing at that point to 'do the right thing.'

I do agree with the part about tRump doing anything to stay in power. He and the Repukes have too much to. Donny's life as he knows it will be over. Last time tRump lost the popular vote by three million votes. This time it needs to be triple that at least.

Recent polls show Trump trailing in several swing states to Joe Biden, his presumptive Democratic challenger.

Trump has refused to tone down his rhetoric in response to his decline in the polls, and top aides are said to fear he is headed for defeat.

I guess it depends on who you talk to. But opinions vary.

Just a thought: The election will not be held in July. The world of November will be very different than the world of July. Just ask Barr, Durham. And there is new news in the Epstein thingee.

I dunno. He seems to be pretty good at that whole timing thing. Let's see where we are in September. The divisive democrats are doing evrything they can to rip this country apart. Let's see how that goes for them.
