Same type of shit the Russians are accused of doing and we called that take news.
You need to read a bit farther than The Daily Caller, bucko.

I see nothing here that would be effective in preventing another mass shooting today, tomorrow, next week or next year.

What if the Las Vegas shooter had done the Republican convention instead of a random country music street party-----?

The nation's mean IQ would have gone up considerably. As for changing their views on guns, nothing would have occurred as was true at their softball game shootings in Alexandria, VA.

Dealing with this in an effective civilized manner is a long term solution. There is no instant solution, including militarizing "soft target" sites.
As long as we maintain an irrational unjustified state of universal unlimited entitlement to weapons of mass casualties, this will continue and escalate. It's past time to compromise a balance between responsible firearm custodianship and civilisation.

Its not "militarizing", but your close. And to dismiss the idea of hardening the target out of hand dispenses with a realistic solution that can keep our kids safe much sooner. Frankly, I hate even having to talk about it, but I'd rather take control of the situation now rather than wait for politicians to take forever to pass half-baked an ineffective measures.

We need to change the culture. Just like we did with cigarettes.
Not that we have to ban all guns...., but we need sensible and reasonable gun laws.

Changing the culture is a multi-year, maybe multi-generational slog. How do we keep our kids safe at school against a shooter that might show up tomorrow?
