I love what I do, won't retire until I'm unable to continue. The advantage of living in a vibrant West Coast metropolis. Plenty of jobs for those who keep up on the latest technologies.

You are so full of shit and more than a bit preachy.
BTW, people who regularly refer to others as dumb, stupid and/or idiots typically aren't as smart as they make themselves out to be.

Lol. Well, let me know when you too are in the top 10% of net worth. I'm dumb. Lol.

^^^ Sounds like Nailer took SS at 62. Which I don't say is dumb. Everyone has to live their own life, and make their own choices, not anyone elses.
I know of a guy, early sixties and apparently healthy, elected to take a bigger pension with no survivor rights. Made some sense, he had lots of years left, he and wife could enjoy the bigger-payments together. Immediately he has a hernia operation, the surgeon botches it, and he dies of infection. Now his poor wife is left with nothing (except a lawsuit against a surgeon).
You never know what's going to happen.

Indeed, you are so correct.

Oops, I lied. Just looked it up. $766/year, including dental. Somehow, this idiot has managed to stay employed by MegaCorp going on 33 years. Dumb.

I retired at 53. Don't know what my net worth percentile is and could care less. But I do own my home, drive a fine German automobile, have no debt and will probably never touch my TSP (401K). BTW there's only one thing people lie about more than sex.
FWIW I didn't say, or even imply, that you were dumb. FoSers often attempt to put words in others' mouths.

I'm about 15 quarters short of being eligible for SS, although I am 62.

If your TSP contributions were pretax, you'll be forced to draw from them starting at age 70.5. IRS sez so.

Best for the country is for the GOP to continue the infighting repealing Obamacare.
