It must've been surreal for those guys to end up there after slogging from Metz, France and then all the way through Deutschland. His division suffered a 77% casualty rate. CCB was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation for their work in Bastogne alongside the 101st Airborne. It's a good thing dad was in Luxembourg at the time in Division HQ with the rest of the division. Most of CCB died in Bastogne.

Watching Lawrence O'Donnell tonight and he's reporting that an exit poll conducted by Wm. and Mary College/TargetSurvey of early voters in Florida shows that 28% of Republican voters have crossed over and voted for Clinton.
Only 6% of Democrats have voted for Trump.

The only people with their hair on fire at the moment are the people who don't want Trump to win. It's undeniably true that that's a lot more likely than is was 5 days ago and becoming more likely every day, thanks to the Democratic Party manipulating the primary process in favor of the most deeply flawed of the available candidates. They were so committed to the symbolic significance of following the election of America's first black president with the election of America's first woman president that they put forward a candidate that even a toxic clown like Trump could beat.

A few weeks ago Hillary sent me a "Proud Democrat" bumper sticker. It went straight into the trash.
