The two political parties in America organize the primaries for their members and select how each election will be handled. The differences between the State primaries are legion. But it works. And was in place years before Sanders ran.

Trump is interesting because he is clearly not the choice of the traditional Republican estsblishment, but that's on them for the precedent of the Tea Party insurrection. That they got a one-note pompous fool as their popularly acclaimed candidate is symptomatic of a failed strategy of their brand of popular appeal.
Bernie was a niche alternative candidate with no real prospects for dominance, and I say that as someone who sympathises with his ideals. I'll take half a loaf rather than starve to death on principle to survive to carry on.

You accused me for my comment Ice and I asked you to define Democracy. Now you are giving me a lecture which I don't need. I already got the BS vote count from Bob like an answering machine.

Care to explain the bolded comment in simple English since I may be deficient in my education?

[QUOTE=icenine;325951][QUOTE=Rajoo;325844] whereas Trump was elected democratically, Hillary was not.

This is an out and out falsehood and anyone who believes this is misguided.
You can have your opinions but you can't shape reality just to fit what you believe.

When you post stuff like this it makes me wonder if there is a sane person behind the keyboard. It is the equivalent of the lies spread by Trump. Maybe not with the same maliciousness but a falsehood nonetheless.
You could have made your point without calling Rajoo a liar. Or was that your point? The arrogance, contempt and hostility you display here toward Bernie's supporters is an impediment to reconciliation. You can be as critical of Bernie as you want, as I am of Hillary but, if your aim is to persuade, you'd be well advised to moderate your tone when dealing with the people you hope to persuade.

So Hillary did not win democratically?

I never called him a liar.

Hillary won more regular delegates than Sanders.
More people voted for her.
Hillary herself lost to Obama who won super-delegates.
Sanders chose to participate in a Democratic Primary system he knew the rules.

So, Rajoo is a liar?

I can have an opinion on this subject that's contrary to yours and, even though that opinion is honestly held, it can be totally wrong. That doesn't make me a liar. And for sure, holding an opinion that is different from yours doesn't make me a liar. Neither does it make you one.

You most certainly did. You accused him twice in that post of uttering falsehoods.

It seems to me that the Berniacs argument is that, even though he lost decisively to Hillary, they like their candidate more than Hillary's supporters like their candidate and somehow Bernie's votes should count more because of the zeal with which they cast their ballot. I don't think it's supposed to work that way. An enthusiastic vote and a hold-your-nose vote count the same.

If someone could show how what the DNC did to put Bernie's votes in Hillz' ballot bin, I'd be interested.
Enough with the "liar, liar" already.
