No we aren't. And I've pretty much decided your 'discourse' here amounts to trolling, the way you keep repeating the same song, regardless of the actual content of the posts of others.

I have?

I have turned my cheek 1 million times since understanding a reasonable approach to Trump would not be had here without so doing.

The second half of your posts seems to suggest I am frustrating you.

Interesting but not surprising.

I reject your premise that such comments reflect disdain for religious or ethnic groups or a desire to be exclusionary. The comments do reflect a disdain for ineffective border security and ineffective/inconsistent enforcement of immigration laws.

Now, you might take issue with the words that were used. Fine. He didn't use PC language in making his point. But the points that Trump was making in these statements need not be lost in a criticism of in-artful rhetoric...

...unless of course that's your objective.

"From impressions are the most lasting", and to me Trump failed the litmus test. Why would I want to spend any time analyzing Trump's virtues since I have not heard nor found any? Trump appears on a morning TV show with his family and now he is an overnight symbol of moderation? And morning Joe said we should all give Trump a critical analysis and now this morning I wake up to this thread! In case you have not figured this out yet noone, Joe has only one objective in mind and that is ratings.

If you are in a hole and you keep digging, you get a bigger and a deeper hole. This is my image of a Trump supporter.

well done

I agree.

The over reaction to Trump is more the problem than is Trump.

I hate Trump. Damn right I do. I hate Hillary too. I don't want either one of these two in the Whitehouse. I want them as far from government as they could possibly get. In fact I wouldn't want either one as a dog catcher, let alone POTUS. But, I don't consider this a blind hate. Quite the contrary. Blind hate is reserved to their supporters who support them, because they hate everyone else. I hate them for what I believe they are; Thoroughly corrupt and self-serving.

However, I wouldn't characterize my emotions on the topic as "rage". More like "frustration" at watching my country go down the sewer of rabid nationalism and demagoguery.

Does that help clear up my position for you?

No, it isn't. Trumps supporters are more of a problem than Trump.

Read "Catch 22"; Trump is Milo and his supporters are riding without parachutes in a B-25 called "America"..........

Irony abounds, throughout this thread.

Neither interesting nor surprising.

You haven't turned the other cheek in my view. Your continued unflattering guesses about the emotional states of others are not consistent with your claim to be doing that.
