Wonder how 'Daddy' Bundy feels now that his boys are going to prison?

What happened with Finnicum is pretty obvious to me but there are some things that occur between about the 9:50 mark to the 12:30 mark that I don't understand.

First there are several flashed near the Bundy's vehicle, bright fiery flashes that are too large, bright and fiery for small arms muzzle flashes and, in any event, several don't seem to occur in proximity to any vehicle or individual.

Then there are several puffs of smoke near the top of the front passenger window of the Bundy vehicle. These look to me like muzzle flashes. They could be bullet strikes but the truck's window appears to remain intact.

Finally, there are what appear to be more puffs of smoke within the vehicle, visible through the windshield. Again, the windshield doesn't appear to have been broken.

As to the puffs of smoke, I think the LEOs were taking fire from the vehicle but they don't seem to have returned fire. This seems odd to me.

The flashes are a mystery to me. They seem to be some sort of explosive ordinance but they also seem to be having no effect.

Anyone have any ideas?

Could the flashes been some kind of weird photo artifact? I did not see any reaction from anyone there when the flashes occurred. ??

As for the puffs of smoke, I have no idea. Perhaps LEO was trying to introduce tear gas or the like?

Why, at 11:24 are there officers out in the open behind the vehicle if they thought there was any danger from those inside?

Can they be set to go off in the air? There doesn't seem to be any effect in the snow to the one on the passenger's side.

Again. ???

I thought about that but I don't think they'd have much effect when deployed in the open and outside the vehicle.

I went back and looked frame by frame and withdraw my comment about the flashes being a photo artifact. You can clearly see the reflection of an explosion on the side of the SUV.

By the way, I think Tarp Man must have been the driver. He appears to exit from the driver's door and, IMO, only Tarp Man was crazy/stupid enough to think he could outrun the cops and not realize he was headed for a roadblock.
