Oh, Ike...that's never going to happen. OK fine...it's the America you want, it's the America you got. Like Dr. Hunter S. Thompson used to say, "You buy the ticket...you take the ride."

*No gas operated automatics, no lever action repeaters, no bolt action rifles with 5 shot magazines. No 5-10-20 shot magazines. Fire a round, break it down, load a round in the chamber, close it up, fire another round. Roof would have gotten off one round before he was beaten unconscious by church members with folding metal church meeting chairs...Abdulazeez would have gotten off one round before he was beaten to death by pissed off Marines with folding metal recruiting office meeting chairs.

Nah Ike...forget it. OK then...let's just STFU about it if we refuse to do what's necessary. It's our rights. It's our tradition of democratized gun carnage that we all (even the moronic gunner cons) say we hate. My ass.
Jesus Christ Almighty Ike!

Whatever happened to "Once a Marine, always a Marine?"

Now lookatcha.

A limp wristed, bed wetting, gun grabbing, libtard girly man!

What a fall from grace!

Once again the real problem is being overshadowed by the victims being members of the military.
A terrorist will just kill civilians or target other facilities if all of a sudden they cannot get on a base or hit a career center.

America is awash with weapons and any would be ISIS lone wolf or psycho is not going to have any trouble getting access to them. LaPierre is happy that we are all wasting time talking about arming recruiters instead of the real problem.

Specify black-powder flintlocks while you're at it. That's unarguably what the constitution-writers intended....

Remember, we went thru this with the mass shooting at Ft Hood as an inside job.

I'll do you a favor and stick to the flintlock standard. As long as the earth's made out of rock, your gun will work.

The diversionary moves came fast. It quickly went from a "Oh, look another mass shooting!" to "Oh, look those Marines are dead because of gun free zones!" in about .5 seconds.

With the fact that he fired on people trapped inside an office from outside the exit and factoring in the element of surprise, would it have made much difference if the Marines had side arms? It was a "fish in a barrel" situation after all.

That being said, I was actually somewhat surprised to see that military recruitment centers are "gun free". Seems more than a little odd. Kind of like "gun free" police stations...............

Oh, and sometimes I am annoyed at the whole "It's more tragic than your average shooting because it was_______."

They kill Marines and we lower flags. But, if Bob and I get shot while having a beer......... Meh.

Gee thanks.

Dave

A good start IMO.

Now the gun grabbing Libtard governors and Obama need to follow suit so that all our military personnel are provided the means to defend themselves.
No sooner had they started packing heat at recruiting stations than a recruiter shoots himself in the leg:

"A U.S. Navy recruiter in Georgia accidentally shot himself in the leg with his own handgun Friday at a local recruiting office, police said.

The accident in Gainesville, Georgia, north of Atlanta, took place a day after four Marines were killed and three other people injured in attacks at two military facilities in Chattanooga, Tennessee. One of the sites was a recruiting office."
