Impossible. Police are the greatest guys. They never do anything wrong.

And if one in a million does transgress to the slightest degree, they are detected, prosecuted, and punished, just like anyone else.

Aren't they?

Here are two interesting sides to this controversy....

District Attorney
On Thursday, Circuit Attorney Jennifer M. Joyce announced that her office was dropping charges after an investigation revealed flaws in how police identified Anderson as their prime suspect. She said she was seeking the opportunity to personally apologize to Anderson and to learn more about what went wrong.

She called the mistake “frustrating” and said she had talked with St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson about how police procedures can be strengthened.

City PD
Dotson referred questions to Maj. Michael Caruso, who said he would not go as far as to issue an apology to Anderson.

“The system worked the way it was designed to work and at the end he was released without going to trial,” Caruso said. “In this case their investigation uncovered some things that ours didn’t — and that’s part of the system — and based on that information, the charges were dropped.”

So there are no people to blame? There is only 'the system?'

When there is no personal accountability, no divisional accountability, and no Police Department accountablity, the system is broken.

In St. Louis city and county, there is zero accountability within the PDs. Over 40 people lost vehicles worth over $10,000 each, and hundreds more lost cheaper vehicles. Not a one was compensated for loss of their vehicle in the police tow scandal.

The stench of scandal, misconduct, and illegal behaviour hangs around the police departments like a cheap French perfume, never disapating and always nauseating. At least the city Circuit Attorney has the grace and wherewithal to recognize an injustice....when it happens in the county, McCulloch becomes the police public defender.

That reads like Zeke Speak.

Gives new meaning to the term "Long arm of the Law" and I am betting a case of police harassment cannot be brought, since no one can prove that the evidence was fabricated.

Now this was the basis for my comment - he can't read.

You miss the point: choices.

All he had to do was submit.

At that point, nothing happens but explanation.

He was attempting to submit to the limits of his physical ability dumbass. And it wasn't fast enough for the local Gestapo. So they knocked him down and beat him while he was down.
