I don't think so. The DOJ investigation, as I understand it, was into whether Brown's civil rights were violated by Wilson, period. This is a little like the OJ trial where, though acquitted of murder. Simpson was convicted in violating the civil rights of his two victims. The conduct of the criminal trial wasn't taken into consideration. I suppose we'll all learn when the DOJ's findings are made public.
