Nice! They should both have rear discs iirc
I've often thought that the fancy stuff, dashes etc were asking for more trouble but I've never had a problem with those bits and I've grown accustomed to the digital dash. I'm looking forward to swapping the stereo head unit for a solid screen with backup and satnav too, they look great! Pete

Time for front brakes on the big Mercury. Got closeout Raybestos superstop rotors & pro grade ceramic pads off Rock for about $85 del'd.
This'll be the second time I've installed ceramics. The difference on my little S-10 was impressive, but I also did all the rubber lines at the same time and that may have helped as well. Finally a fun job! I like doing brakes. So this Sat I'm heading up to the shed with a 6 pack and a handful of CDs Pete

Wait, better make that a half case. I'll pull the air compressor I mentioned too.
Btw Bob I did a little research on that air intake thingie I pulled. It's main purpose was to pull air from in front of the radiator, and apparently the restrictor part is to quiet it. It's MUCH louder with it off! I'll add a straight pipe to get the intake out past the rad again while I'm in there.
