John Hiatt - Slow Turning
I guess it's an OK album.

David Lindley and Jackson Browne play "Mercury Blues."

The really strong version of this, with Lindley really powering through it like crazy, is on "Love Is Strange: En Vivo Con Tino". But it's fun watching them.

Black Sabbath---13
Halfway through it. Listening to "God is Dead?", right now.
Not a bad album at all, really. Very good, actually. I was hesitant to spend my money on it, after Ozzies latest and truly horrible solo effort. The old fart done pretty good on this one.
I have found the "Holy Grail" combo of tubes for the Bottlehead. Amperex 6085 and RCA 6AS7G Black Plate. AMAZING!

I was lucky enough to see David Lindley play in KC awhile back. He and John Hammond were on the same bill. Lindley plays an amazing array of stringed instruments.

D-Ray

And he can play them all just as well standing up as in his lap. Maybe better in his lap. I find his interest in 60's Teisco guitars from Japan really fascinating. He has dozens of them, and he's got them tuned all kind of ways to play standard or slide.
