Nah, whut am I thinkin'... Never happen.

Either way, it still doesn't rise up to Watergate levels of outright lying or even the fairy tale whoppers that Saint Ronnie of RKO told us. I've got to admit that I never fell for that "I didn't inhale" bs that 'Big Dog' Clinton was selling, though.
First time I've seen Obamacare compared to Watergate. Shit, Bob, you might be on to something!

Y'all still need the Senate for that one to fly, my friend. Good luck with that while the Tea Party is still primarying Republicans. Maybe in 2018.

and any male over 50 needs an annual prostate exam... you do not want to find out you have prostate cancer when your shoulder starts to hurt from it after it has spread outside of the gland...by then it is too late

the thing is the more people get insured in the long run things will get cheaper

I want single payer too....but I do not see it in the immediate future...

the Republicans are stuck...they cannot get rid of Obamacare and they will not champion single payer....

A smart GOP would favor single payer to co-opt the Obama coalition...but it won't happen

no one ever has the same doctor

get real
the moment you need care beyond your local doc you need a spe************************t that you do not know from Adam

I can tell you do not know much about medicine

besides insurance companies usually determine who you see, right? even before Obamacare

In an HMO? Darn tootin' they tell you who you can go to. Remember the outrage over that? Yeah, me neither.

What about employers who choose where your coverage comes from and how much you will pay without consulting you? Telling you if you don't like it then just go get your own at your own expense?

Where is the "choice" in that?

Personally, I think it's sickening that we have people who think you shouldn't have health coverage if you aren't working for it. Yeah, that's in the spirit Christs teachings.

"......This do unto the least of my brethren and you have done so unto me.", anyone?

I also remember that from all the open enrollments at various jobs...and then they changed insurance providers...or the providers changed plans...or the employer's bottom line caused them to pull the PPO option for all HMO. So we changed plans and doctors.

I remember it well, whell...I also remember that it happened five or six times during my employment history every time driven by the private sector. Now, for the first time it's driven by the public sector.

So in my experience the private sector is ahead 6-1 in "lies". But when it's the Kenyan anti-colonialist...then it's an outrage.

As far as the savings...nobody knows what the savings will be, or if there will be savings. But if some people (including myself) need to pay more in premiums so that everybody gets covered, then I say...tough shit...shut your festering piehole and ante up. (And...Season's Greetings and Happy Holidays to all...from Ike, the left handed Irishman/Jew adoptee.)

Sounds familiar, when Aetna was administering the TI plan every submission was a big battle. They kept tring to say that Medicare was my primary even though I was a full time employee. The coverage we have now is far superior.
