NC Board Of Elections Reverses Decision
http://abclocal.go.com/wtvd/story?se...ics&id=9234682
He can run afterall it is only fair to point out this positive decision in light of the earlier critical "negative" post detailing the vote against his candidiacy.

I see your point and in a pure economic break down you'd be right but I'd venture to guess there is more than just pure economics in play here. If the manufactures were to come out in support of destruction they'd be shooting themselves in the foot (pun intended). While it would seem economically sound it my be political folly......

Sure, I see what you mean. This is why we see the carpenter's union lobbying to save old buildings, and the big electronics manufacturers are always trying to help us keep vintage stereos out of the dump.

At the least the Democrats would probably get the House next year
The "worst" would be a Biden Presidency.
And from what I can see there is no Republican Jimmy Carter waiting in the wings in 2016.

All politicians in NC should now also be required to submit to drug tests as they dine from the public trough as much (or more) than welfare recipients.

Significant Differences State To State re Obamacare
It seems the Eastern Seaboard, Far West and various Mid-West states will have it better than some Republican controlled ones. Some of the Republican states who did not set up exchanges will nevertheless cooperate with the Federal exchanges. Others like Texas seemed to be fighting it tooth and nail.
Texas has 6 million uninsured by the way.

Does not make sense. Anyway maybe Cruz will take all the credit once Texas finally accepts Obamacare in a few years. It is inevitable. Denying the access to affordable health care is not going to go down too well there.

* Health insurer refunds drop by half in 2012 vs 2011
* Government says insurers are reining in premiums
* Each family to receive average of $100 back
June 20 (Reuters) - U.S. insurers will pay $500 million in rebates to employers and individuals this summer because of President Barack Obama's healthcare law, about half the amount they paid last year.
The law, often called Obamacare, requires companies to refund customers when they spend less than 80 percent of premiums they collect on medical care.
The Department of Health and Human Services attributed the decline in rebates to insurers' adhering more closely to this requirement and to lowering premium rates for their products.
The government agency said on Thursday that 8.5 million insurance customers would receive an average rebate of about $100 per family after August 1. For 2011, 4.1 million people received about $152 per family, or a total of $1.1 billion.

Senator John Barrasso said in the weekly Republican address released on Saturday that the Affordable Care Act is hurting middle-class Americans.
"Many families are going to have real sticker shock when they see their new insurance rates - even families who get government subsidies," Barrasso, an orthopedic surgeon, said.
