'non cracker', I usually would let it pass but it's been thrown around a lot lately by the kinder, gentler left.

I've mostly ignored the Zimmerman case, but IMO the juror is saying that she was unfortunately constrained by what she viewed as a bad law. I can't say she's alone in that POV.

Right. I never understood it until I pulled jury duty myself. "Not Guilty" does not necessarily mean someone is "Innocent". Everyone on the jury knew the guy was guilty ("Guilty as hell." is how the foreman put it.) and said so in the deliberation room. But, the only thing we had to go on was an assumption by the arresting officer. No eye witnesses. Not enough for a conviction.

Guilt has to be proven, "....beyond any shadow of doubt.". That's our Constitution. Don't like it? Go live somewhere else.

Personally, I believe this is the very essence of the case.

A bad law that allows fools to play vigilante.

I can't help but wonder, now that Zimmerman has gotten away with this, that there will be more. We won't know, because it will become commonplace, and therefore not get the attention it should.

Yes, he is. He's just a murderer who was allowed to walk under a crooked law designed to allow murderers like him to walk.

I see a double standard regarding the use of racial slurs. One does get tired being called a racist.
