Gerry Mulligan: WHAT IS THERE TO SAY

Art Farmer
Bill Crow
Dave Bailey

A beaut from sax baritonist Mulligan.
Here the trumpeter is Art Farmer and not the usual
Chet Baker.

This is more than West Coast sound.

It's only the Left Coast sound if you're using JBL's or Altec's?

Listening to some fine slide guitar with a damn fine back beat, here.

Got to hear Sobriquet again tonight (and last night). They are playing as part of the Fringe Festival in Kansas City. Last night they used the house PA, which sucked - kept cutting out. To night they used a real PA and it was tight. The boy has a new six-string Peavey bass, and he was comfortable enough with it to break it out for the show. Dang, I have fun going to see them play.

Regards,

D-Ray

I do like rock and roll speakers...these look like Mach Ones on steroids....

I always hear good things about the KG-4s....some of the lesser well known Klipsch sound really good...

Odd thing... I hooked up some B&W 600is on a selector switch and placed them on my Santanas...so far still listening to the Santanas lol...
