Shouldn't make any difference. Voltage is
potential, the tubes will draw no more than the 6 volts the circuit supplies. As I said, 6v into a filament rated for 8v should be fine. The other way around would more likely be a problem as you would be sending an overvoltage to the filament.

As a matter of fact, running lower voltage to the slightly heftier filament should only mean that the tube will live a longer, happier life.
