Anyone remember the Right trumpeting that Reagan had "defeated Communism"?
I do. You couldn't get through a day for years without having to listen to that brainwashed nonsense. Yeah, they "defeated Communism". That's why we have COMMUNISTS threatening to bomb Hawaii, the last few days. That's why Cubans still languish under COMMUNISM today. That's why we STILL question the motives of Russian politicians, many of whom are just old COMMUNISTS in sheeps clothing. ("...I looked into his eyes and could tell that he's a good guy.") That's why American Capitalists still wheel and deal with COMMUNIST leaders in China for slave labor.....as I type. Gotta admire their determined efforts at claiming success out of abject failure. China still has a Communist government, that is busy using profits gleaned from allowing (some) Capitalism....to build up their military. Read the book. The trick is to fool the enemy into destroying himself. What's up? Dave
