Unlike the lunatics of Whell's World, she's not crazy. I hope she runs, just to draw the remaining sane Repube votes away from the Orange criminal.

The problem is if she draws the remaining sane Repube votes away from the Orange criminal she may also drain those votes that would go to Biden. The sane not-brainwashed Republicans are already not voting for tRump. Job #1 this election is defeat tRump.

Well, maybe run her as Biden's VP. That would be a win-win.

Now that would be strange and wonderful. Would turn off some number of Democrats, though.

Perhaps, but Kamala Harris as VP is extremely problematic, more so considering Biden's age. Its a gamble I would recommend because without Kamala, more independents will vote for Biden. And he has been an extremely successful president and a good man, unless you are a MAGAt in which case YMMV.

Dumping Harris from the ticket is an insane idea, Raj. African American women are the heart, soul and backbone of the Democratic party and they vote. The Bedwetter coalition in the Democratic Party needs to discover courage, even if it's dutch courage. (grin)

Kevin McCarthy will retire from Congress at end of year

He sucked up to Donny, then Donny threw him under the bus. Will they never learn!?

Good news:
Former speaker Kevin McCarthy will retire from Congress at end of year
Bad news:
By resigning in 2023, Newsom will have to call a special election, a CA Central valley seat with mostly Trumpers in this district.

The House votes to condemn antisemitism — with some partisan edges
Quote:
|
More controversial was the resolution’s conflation of anti-Zionism — opposition to Israel as a Jewish state — with antisemitism. The resolution is explicit: with its passage, the House is stating that it “clearly and firmly states that anti-Zionism is antisemitism.” That conflation spurred disagreement, including from prominent Jewish lawmakers like Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.).
|
Ike is celebrating somewhere after this.
Now Israel is being handed a "do as you please" scroll by this House of Repugnants. Or as usual, these resolutions are political theater and is meaningless.

Unless Joe did something like nominate Harris for the SC. That would probably necessitate expanding the court. It would never fly if the Repubs had anything to do about it. That would be another reason to vote them out. Presidents and Vice-presidents have to be elected and have term limits. If Harris would get a seat on the bench that's an appointment for life. To say she's at least as qualified and anyone the Repubs have appointed in recent history would be an understatement.
