Nope, that nasty divorce was 25 years ago.

I'm just damned good at holding a grudge.

Sorry but I can't see the point in hating others, near as I can tell they don't feel a thing.

Looks like Cheney does not feel a thing either...in a recent interview he is blaming Obama for ISIS. WTF over. I would imagine he has this false alternative universe constructed in his mind that allows him to sleep at night.

But I guess I'm a hypocrite. I was in Iraq also.

Cheney believes that Obama did not finish the job in Iraq that he and Bush started. That's a scary thought let alone an argument. ISIS grew out of Iraq/Maliki/Iran dynamic and who installed Maliki?

But not by choice I'll wager.

ISIS grew out of al Qaeda in Iraq. They essentially are AQI gone global. (See Tunisia/Bardo Museum.)

They "blossomed" under al Maliki, partly because of his campaign against the Sunni. ISIS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi was imprisoned and tortured by the Maliki regime and later released. Mistreatment of Sunnis by the al Maliki government was probably the impetus for the huge increase in funding ISIS received from the rich Wahabis from Saudi Arabia and several of the Gulf States.

This is the really important aspect of the whole mess. ISIS is funded by individuals and probably governments across the entire region. Part of the international effort to defeat ISIS must be directed at identifying the individuals and states providing financial support to ISIS and then freezing their assets and, in the case of governments, imposing international sanctions against them.

Of course, this will never happen.

Not if he changes his name to Richard Cheney.
