The issue here is the gun.

I didn't realize that you could kill some one without a gun.

I'll guarantee you, that's news to the boys in the joint. And I'll guarantee you something else, after working for two years at MSP, and starting with the notion that prisons are full of good old boys who just made a mistake, there are people out there who will kill you out of boredom.

And that IS a fact, and one which I consider beyond debate.

It's not a "gun" problem, it's a "criminal" problem.

Now I am open to the topic of perhaps we should quit creating criminals, at least any more than absolutely necessary.
