Other times, music will reflect a musician's world view, even if it's not overtly political.
"Why I sing the Blues" BB King
"Busted" Ray Charles
"Satisfaction" Stones
"Respect" Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin
"Living in the USA" Steve Miller (Chuck Berry?)
"Margaritaville" Jimmy Buffett

As I said, you know when it's right.
I always figured Blue for a "Take This Job and Shove It" kind of guy.

Attributing beauty to nature requires that we ignore its less than beautiful side. Nature is inherently neutral, one can look out and see beauty in a herd of antelope, but stay around long enough and watch the hyenas slaughter a few. Or perhaps a pride of lionesses - ever notice that the king of the jungle lets others do the hunting.
Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder and in his/her mind's eye as well.

That would be amazing. Not that Sandy isn't capable, but it's so different, my respect level would need a new top rating.
I think Pukka posts here because we're all so smart and engaging.

Very well said Rob! One could say that nature is inhuman.

I will admit, an ice storm is beautiful to behold...right before a tree falls on your house and you bust your ass trying to do something about it.
Then the fricking power goes out...

But, that's good for business, isn't it - as long as it's someone else's house. I'm sure it's a PITA to try to collect from insurance companies, though.

I told the SO, be careful out there, it's a killing storm. She said storms don't kill people.

To stray even further off the path, I have to laugh when I see catalogs identifying particular products as Good, Better and Best. A more accurate description is often Cheap, Passable, and Functional, but then that wouldn't be effective advertising, would it.?
