Be interesting to see what happens now. You have a duly passed bill, signed by the president mandating release of the files vs. several DOJ"ongoing investigations" that effectively stonewall such release.

Which prevails? I know what I think.

MTG resigns her seat as of Jan. 5th, 2026.

"Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, a once-loyal supporter of President Donald Trump who has become a critic, said Friday she is resigning from Congress in January.

Greene, in a more than 10-minute video posted online, explained her decision and said she’s “always been despised in Washington, D.C., and just never fit in.”

So long team MAGA

Will Dementia quietly let her walk away? Aside from calling for the release of the Epstein files, she has branded him a traitor. People will be talking abut her and he hates it when someone else has the spotlight.

**I had somewhat similar thoughts, how to get her to keep harping on expiring Obamacare and release of Epstein files. As of now, both of these appear to be DOA.

Greene is waiting to formally resign until Jan. 5. That’s two days after she crosses the five-year threshold required to qualify for a lifetime congressional pension, which comes with generous health care benefits. Maybe she’s not so different from the politicians she detests. At least she won’t have to worry about paying higher insurance premiums.
Not bad for a five year circus stint in DC.
Come with nothing, do nothing and leave with a golden parachute for life.
This is what Performance Politics can get you in the era of MAGA and Social Media.

And for comparison, her nemesis Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has quietly built a reputation for competence and now looking to move forward.
I am an admirer but not necessarily her politics, yet if the current trend of ineptitude in the Democratic Party continues, she may be in a position to be a big player in the party. And with Madnani's win along with his invitation to the WH where Trump was kissing someone else's ass for a change and AOC's political clout, Governor Hochul grip is now weakened in NY.

AOC built her own political machine. Now she’s deciding her next move.

Seven years after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez leapt onto the national stage as an outsider, she’s learned an inside game and is considering a run for Senate or president.

Apparently that's just two days after her pension kicks in.

Not that anyone with half a brain couldn't do better than Tapioca-4-Brains but I don't think she's electable. If she did run it could boost the quality of the primary.

She is better suited for the Steve Bannon/Tucker Carlson route to fame and fortune, not that I am predicting her future. An ugly American imo like her ex-hero and gal pals spewing rage and venom from a vacant cranium.
