Gutless Wonders Pass Trumpolini's Big Bill

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...bb-house-vote/

Medicaid is dead. My elderly wife and I will have nowhere to turn when we need homecare or a bed in a barebones nursing facility in the next decade.

Thanks for less than nothing Trump voters. Just fuck off.

Just got this email from SSA. How easily they lie.

Quote:
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is celebrating the passage of the One Big, Beautiful Bill, a landmark piece of legislation that delivers long-awaited tax relief to millions of older Americans.

The bill ensures that nearly 90% of Social Security beneficiaries will no longer pay federal income taxes on their benefits, providing meaningful and immediate relief to seniors who have spent a lifetime contributing to our nation's economy.

“This is a historic step forward for America’s seniors,” said Social Security Commissioner Frank Bisignano. “For nearly 90 years, Social Security has been a cornerstone of economic security for older Americans. By significantly reducing the tax burden on benefits, this legislation reaffirms President Trump’s promise to protect Social Security and helps ensure that seniors can better enjoy the retirement they’ve earned."

The new law includes a provision that eliminates federal income taxes on Social Security benefits for most beneficiaries, providing relief to individuals and couples. Additionally, it provides an enhanced deduction for taxpayers aged 65 and older, ensuring that retirees can keep more of what they have earned.

Social Security remains committed to providing timely, accurate information to the public and will continue working closely with federal partners to ensure beneficiaries understand how this legislation may affect them.

Trump says the Republican mega bill will eliminate taxes on Social Security. It does not

For you MAGA types, here's the actual truth. Donny, as always, is lying to you.

smh - Repukes always overreach when they have the slightest advantage. The midterms are going to rival the drubbing the GOP took after Nixon shit the bed.

I am wondering how the income for taxes for certain select groups can be arbitrarily set and shouldn't this be challenged. And I am certain there are other elements in this colossal bill that very few have even read let alone comprehend.

And how can this bill be implemented without raising the debt ceiling and are the Dems going to cave again on this?

The glee of Republicans at the passing of the Billionaires Benefit Bill really have me concerned about the midterms happening in a free and fair manner, if at all. Of course they're afraid of POTUS (piece of totally useless shit) but do they think they can gaslight their way through the next election? I honestly think there are plans being hatched to steal/stop the 2026 midterms. Those in power now ain't gonna to peacefully, quietly give it up.
PS, will Elon try to primary them all?

The delay in the implementation of the worst effects till after the mid terms or after he is gone, will fool many into still believing in Trump and the GOP.

Also does anyone believe that this leader will not just borrow the money needed to keep the shortfalls in revenue or cuts out of the news. He cares little about paying bills or saving for a rainy day...
