Ethnic Cleansing in the United States

Let's start with this, from Josh Moon:
‐----------------
And don’t sell me this absolute bunk about these people being here “illegally.” First off, very few of them are here illegally no matter what definition you try to apply. Secondly, even those who are here without documentation, particularly those who have been here for decades, were invited here.

By all of us.

We invited them when we ate in their restaurants. When we shopped in their stores. When we hired them to do work at our homes. When we put them on construction crews. When we advertised for them to pick our produce. When we made it acceptable for hard-working, law-abiding immigrants to come here, regardless of legal status or language skills, and make a good life for their families — in some cases, for multiple generations of their families."

What is happening here now is not new in the world.
Every time something like this happens it never ends well for the country.

We are to close to the beginning of to see the results and harm generations from now.

Let's not normalize this. The prediction is a no-brainer if we continue the course we are on. Any chance of a course correction depends on a clear-eyed appraisal of how bad this is.

I have zero compassion for the ones who voted for this to be saying now.... "no one told us he would do this" or "he never said he do this"....

My stock answer is, yes he did and we Democrats and Liberals were shouting it, you just refused to listen!

BTW, no one in the current regime will tell us what Felon's "eradication" program is costing us.
Ironic that the chief insurrectionist and convicted felon is calling protesters insurrectionists and criminals.

Sending troops (unnecessarily and illegally) to LA is costing $134 million and that's just scratching the surface. For example, Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" is asking for an increase of $75 billion for ICE. And none of this accounts for the lost revenue in the agricultural, hospitality and construction industries for screwing up their respective workforces.

And associated costs like:
Food & lodging for the ICE army
Transportation costs for same
The cost for hard facilities (rent, maintenance, utilities)
Pay for agents
Pay for deputized agents
Equipment for agents
Costs for detained detainees, and I assume at some point these people are being fed.
Costs for transporting detainees
Also, whatever it is we're paying that "prison" in El Salvadore(?) and the facilities in other places due process-les people are being sent to.

While it's supposed to be publicly accessible records I'd be in fear of men with alphabets on the backs of their jackets knocking on my door if I did a FOIA request for ICE's budget.
