I'm posting those I found of general interest to the group that may not have direct access or awareness of her.
I'll try to keep up.

Seems some of the justices on the supreme court are repainting the guardrails to red, or at least hope so after their asinine immunity ruling which reads like an appeasement rather than an absolute decision.

I don't think SCOTUS can now be relied upon for anything, not even pro-Trump nonsense.

Despite what some sour apple wants to winge about, feel free to keep posting her links, Pio.

Didn't realize Pio needed your approval to post links, Bob. Regardless, thanks for the kind words. Love ya.

I promise. Just as soon as you abandon the passive-aggressive authoritarian pose. There's somebody you're reminding me of, I just can't put my finger on it. Wait a minute, it'll come to me.

Actually, how can you say the Jan 6 2021 insurrection was not a breach of the guardrails? The constitutional succession process was stopped. That it was started again was, to continue the metaphore, a case of road service putting a rolled-over car back on it's wheels. The guardrails had not kept the car on the road.

In the past, the guardrails have failed spectacularly. Ever hear of the Civil War*? Guardrails never worked real well for minority people anyway. No guardrails in Wilmington in 1898. No guardrails at Wounded Knee. Don't put your faith in a metaphore. What 'guardrails' really are is persons willing and able to take effective action in opposition to abuses and transgressions and sedition. The Supreme Court members need to be guardrails, and they have failed when it counted.

* As we are still able to call it. May have to rechristen it "Civil War I" before this stuff is over.
