You titled the thread, Faith AND Reason.
Guess you meant, Faith VS Reason, as the two are seemingly mutually exclusive by your decree.

I am not king of the words, much less of the ideas they carry. The idea of faith is that it is superior to reason, and may rightly take precedence. It was a revolution in European philosophy when the contrary assertion was advanced, with impunity from the inquisitor. Of course, where the two are felt to be compatible, the question is moot.

Am I torturing you from the keyboard, Mike ? If so, that is not my intention.
'Rape, maim, pillage and burn, rape maim pillage and burn' is a Fraternal chant; the Christian Crusades were not an act of God.
This statement is an answer to a question you did not pose, but others following in the wake of your disputation did suggest it.

The Crusaders certainly thought it was. Indeed nearly all combatants in all wars think God is on their side.

You? Torture? I can't imagine such a thing--unless it was to drive out my demon. Then it seems quite possible.
Remember how Milgram had no problem getting people to dial up the shocks to max? Authority is powerful.

Touche.
I'm quilty of dishing out Psy-Ops in favor of Jesus. I'll dial it back down for humanitarian reasons, now that I've heard the groaning.
What do you say; stale mate ?

I don't, just playing a hunch based on a pattern of 'Heckle and Jecklisms'.
My intuition / suspicion is that certain members role play, or play cyber-puppets, using more than one screen name.
It's a well-established internet tactic. As far as I know there are no rules or laws against it.
I'm not filing a complaint.

I am who I am. I donīt play games or troll.
I have already said that I was Judas Priest at AK. Itīs no secret.
I have a second account at AK just to keep track of what I have already read, and to see the pictures.
I have never posted using that account, and am not planning on doing so.
