I stand corrected. FWIW it's not that it's the NY Times that said it you singled them out like they were the only ones spouting that. They aren't. DJ & JD are spouting the same thing too

Probably because its a legit observation and a legit question to ask. Just do a Google search. The story has cropped up in both left-leaning and right-leaning outlets. https://apnews.com/article/harris-tr...c5843aedbec8dd

The bottom line is that the press and MAGA aren't getting an interview before the convention. Get over it. She's focused on launching her impromptu campaign and planning a convention and she's doing a bang-up job so far, eh?

So he's not a rapist anymore?
|
He's one or the other or both, depending on how you define rape. I'm comfortable with applying either label to Trump's behavior, as was the presiding judge. Sexual assault is abhorrent and I don't understand why you're willing to give him a pass on it. Why do you?

So, what are the policy positions that "are already well-understood"?
|
Same as it ever was:
Reproductive Rights, Climate Change, Worker Rights, Environmental Protection, Gun Safety, Judicial Ethics, Voter Rights, Rule of Law, Support for Democracy at Home and Abroad.
If you want further details, look at Project 2025 - Democrats would do the opposite. Makes you wonder why Trump is running like a scalded cat from his own policy blueprint (and please don't bother parroting the lie that Trump was unaware and had nothing to do with it). He recognizes how toxic the GOP's far-right policies have become. Why haven't you?

The post that linked to that article was in response to another forum member, not you. (That forum member is as confused as you are, and apparently thought the link was to the NY Post,) I get that you might think everything is about you, though.

You really have taken up residence in Fantasyland. The average politician - Repub or Dem - usually doesn't give a crap about any of that except to the extent that talking about it might get them some votes.

Whatever, dude. This thread for me is proof positive that many folks here support any candidate with a (D) after their name whether they know anything about them or not.

Last time I checked, that's the very point of political campaigns. I suppose delusional ramblings about windmills, sharks, electric boats, low flow faucets and Hannibal Lecter is what it takes to get your vote.

That can't be true. If "getting votes" is the very point of political campaigns, then the Dem VP candidate would have been Shapiro, not Walz. Pennsylvania has been one of the most, if not the most, pivotal states in the last few election cycles. An opportunity to help shore up the vote in PA was lost with the Walz pick.
