I am not so sure. Better to have kept him around to highlight the rot in the GOP for the 2024 Congressional elections in NY, while about ten newly elected Repub House members wanted him gone the worst way.

…yet the fools of Whell’s World still embrace their Dear Leader, who is every bit the liar and criminal that Santos is, without seeing any irony. Sad!

Read the article Rajoo linked to. It explains a lot.

Here is some unadulterated Bullshit from Faux. They are awarding credit to the Republicans for expelling Santos while Menendez is still hanging around the capitol, blaming this on the Dems of course. Guess what? 105 Goppers voted to oust Santos, 112 Goppers opposed it. And expulsion required 2/3 of the votes.

Here is the sentence that I found offensive.

Quote:
At least Republicans in the House are capable of holding one of their own to account.
Sorry no. Everytine the current GOP House does anything meaningful (like defualts), its the Dems casting the decisive votes, not the Repugnants. Just because the Deplorables cannot do the math does not mean the rest of us are dumb.

As for the Republicans 'holding one of their own to account,' do note that the majority of Republicans voted not to expell.

And their House leadership unanimously opposed holding him to account.

Santos, Boebert, Greene, Tuberville, Lake, Sanders, tRump etc. How can anyone think these people would have made good representatives for our government?

Oh, right.
