Trump's attorneys are telling him to prepare for indictment
That's nice. Meantime we're stuck with our piece of shit Constitution and the law, good or bad law, that is generated from it that says, a felon, sometimes depending on the nature of the crime, but also generally, cannot be employed in the following...
Working with children
Most medical professions
Commercial piloting
Law enforcement or security positions
Practicing attorney
Contact with classified information
In most states, jobs that require a firearm and...
Most government work except...President of the United States...There are no legal obstacles to running for president as a convicted felon or even from behind bars...and even serve as President from prison.
Most interesting is that conviction of acts of terrorism or anti-government action will instantly exclude such felons from government jobs. Trump has obviously done this, but can he be convicted of it? Remarkably, perhaps not.
But basically, in this country, with our worn out Constitution which is unrelated to modern day life in any meaningful way, there's a whole lot of jobs that felons can't have, but one of them is not the Commander In Chief.
What this five cent cigar needs is a good country.
