The politics of racial resentment come back to haunt the GOP

Trump’s lead among whites is down dramatically, his support among women and among college-educated Americans disintegrated. The presence of so many whites on the streets over the past couple of weeks provides hope that a majority of whites finally grasp the pervasive nature of systemic racism. Trump and the GOP should understand that means whites who refuse to buy into the “whites as victims” mentality and who cringe and cry at the sight of police brutality want no part of him. That is a formula for racial change — and a blistering defeat for Republicans.

Donny is toast. The GOP is toast. So sad that the Party of Lincoln has become the party of racists and uneducated fools.
