Of course there are. Allow tRump to talk crap trying to appear tough and take the focus off of the murder cops. Some have accused the Proud Boys of being complicit. Then there's the "umbrella man" who got caught on video smashing windows at the Autozone store. I've also seen another cell phone video taken of a group of black clad white men wearing masks smashing windows of and looting a CVS.

Department of Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington confirmed evidence of white supremacist groups trying to incite violence; Many posted messages online that encouraged people to go loot in Minneapolis and cause mayhem.

Yet the loudest voices over on the now shut down thread on AK were all asking, "why would they destroy their own city?". They didn't, and aren't. These may be the same agitators funded by Betsy DeVos family money...

This tragedy has a particular resonance for me in how people can be treated so differently based on appearance.
About 20 years ago I withdrew $100 cash at my bank (from a teller) and the next morning when paying for coffee and a pastry prior to work the cashier called for the manager and after a whispered conversation the manager told me that the $20 bill I gave the cashier was counterfeit. To my relief the manager handed the bill back to me and I paid with another $20 that was legal tender and went to work.
Later that day I went to my bank and presented the counterfeit $20 to a teller and explained that I'd gotten the bill from the bank the day before when I withdrew cash (I don't recall if I showed her a withdrawal receipt). She spoke with her supervisor and gave me a good $20 bill in exchange for the counterfeit bill.
I believe that the fact that I was white and apparently affluent was the reason I wasn't arrested & charged with passing a counterfeit bill.

All of my adult life fit a profile and for years PD hassled me. All I would of needed to do was cut my hair short, shave, quit wearing old blue jeans water buffalo's sorta things. Eventually society and time has mellowed PD's view somewhat or they just don't mess with old long hairs as much anymore.
I still have failed to met a single person who picked their uniform or sex at birth.
The riots are showing this country still has not come to terms with race and equality yet.

3 more cops charged in George Floyd death, other officer’s murder charge upgraded
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/03/3-mo...-upgraded.html
Still no Murder One, as it should be, but Murder Two, and the others charged. Better than before.

Benjamin Crump, Esq. ✔@AttorneyCrump
FAMILY’S REACTION: This is a bittersweet moment. We are deeply gratified that @AGEllison took decisive action, arresting & charging ALL the officers involved in #GeorgeFloyd's death & upgrading the charge against Derek Chauvin to felony second-degree murder. #JusticeForGeorge

Makes you wonder why people are, or ever were, protesting.
That said, when the dust settles it will be interesting to see what the juries decide. I remember Rodney King. It looked pretty cut and dried to everyone that saw the last 8 seconds of the video, but the jury disagreed.
There is so much we don't know, but much will come out. And it will almost certainly not all support the same side of the case. That's literally how it works in the real world. The Court of Public Opinion is really kinda worthless from a legal standpoint.

Virginia Governor Plans to Order Robert E. Lee Statue Removed
A statue of the Confederate general in Richmond is controlled by the state, but the city’s mayor said he would propose a bill to remove additional Confederate monuments there.

Long overdue, but the times, they are a'changing.
