The guy has been very consistent on opposition to foreign adventures, at times doing the work expected of Democrats. His opposition on some of Trump's actions have brought condemnation aimed at him from both sides of the house.
His highlighting of the dependent position of US re China, especially in strategic areas, has been stunning. He has distilled the real China story: The complicity and corruption of captains in academia, politics and industry.
The man is bold; he is not afraid to call it on critical issues at critical times... Syria, Iran, China, Venezuela.
Some of the package buyers might just sit.
