It's not so much that he's ignorant. Or foolish. He may be both of those things, but it's hard to tell, because ACTING in ways that seem ignorant and foolish to us makes sense for him. Whell is very self-directed, playing his own game, and his game is not ours. We to a very large degree value truth, logic, fairness, and other nice educated liberal stuff. Whell mainly values feeling superior and not inferior, vis a vis liberals who think they are so smart. And he is so needy on that value axis that it totally drowns out all other values. In argument he is an utter amoral troll therefore.

He may or may not know that Trump is truly a lying authoritarian pig, and the greatest internal danger this democracy has ever faced. I can't tell. Because if he knows it, he'll never admit it. That would sabotage his personal fight, which is all that actually matters to him.

I think whell is a Russian bot, or at least he sounds like one.
