Bill Baroni, a former top official at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and a close associate of Gov. Chris Christie, was sentenced to two years in prison on Wednesday for his role in closing access lanes to the George Washington Bridge as a form of political retribution against a mayor who refused to endorse Mr. Christie for re-election in 2013.

Bridget Anne Kelley to be sentenced later in the day.
David Wildstein, Mr. Baroni’s assistant has already plead guilty.

David Samson, a former attorney general of New Jersey and a longtime friend of Mr. Christie, pleaded guilty in a separate case of bribery for personal gain, but the investigation arose from the bridge investigations. Mr. Samson was accused of pressuring United Airlines to resume a flight to South Carolina near where he has a home. Mr. Samson was sentenced this month to a year of home confinement.

And poor Christie who was aiming for an executive position within Trump's administration is hiding out in DC today avoiding reporters.
