I find it curious that the right is so willing to believe Russia is innocent of any wrongdoing and will defend them to the end but will constantly finds fault and suspicion with our own president, even claiming he's not legit.
What does that tell you about the right? Tells me that their claims of "patriot" are bullshit.

Not so much bullshit, but suspect. However this goes for many politicians regardless of where they sit...patriotism is a convenient tool.

Just imagine what the GOP would say about Obama if he was as close to Putin as Trump.
The GOP is going to look the other way as long as they can mess with the safety net. Corruption, incompetence, nepotism...as long as Ryan can get his agenda done they will not give a damn what Trump does.
What is really odd is that he has this right wing cabinet that is definitely conservative and would fit right in with say a Pence presidency.
I think Trump's moral and intellectual center of gravity is pure self-interest.
So the the battle for his signature will be between the Alt-right and the Tea Party GOP. Scary.

Didn't even glance at the article, didja?
As the author of the article might suggest, isn't it curious that Bush was slammed by the left for misreading / misinterpreting intel, but in similar circumstances the left wants to accept the Russia hack info at face value with almost no details provided?

Bush didn't "misread" Intel, he cherry picked and manipulated the intel so it told him exactly what he wanted to hear. The Iraq invasion was planned by Bush and Cheney before Bush even became president.
12 federal agencies have backed this Russian intel.

Uh, no. The actual number is 17. And while there is agreement that the hacking appears to have been perpetrated by actors in Russia, not all of them agree on the intent of or reason behind the hacks.
The recent disclosures of alleged hacked e-mails on sites like DCLeaks.com and WikiLeaks and by the Guccifer 2.0 online persona are consistent with the methods and motivations of Russian-directed efforts.
And...
We believe, based on the scope and sensitivity of these efforts, that only Russia's senior-most officials could have authorized these activities.
Believing something is quite a bit different than having proof. Without proof, is there any doubt that our response to this activity has been so mild?

Thanks for the chuckles Mike. I hope you're wearing yoga pants when you twist yourself up like a pretzel defending Trump and his BFF Putin.

Ah, so the issue isn't that the ruskies hacked our elections, you really don't care if the Russians interfere in our elections process. You're just unclear of the motives. You think the motives were justifiable and honest then.
And when china hacks the pentagon, you'll assume it's to help us...right?

Did you follow a set of instructions to build that straw man, or did you design it all by yourself?

No, I was just describing the picture of yourself which you've painted on this web site.
