The Official Democratic Party Death Spiral Thread.

After this last election the Democrats will hold 194 seats in the House. The last time they held fewer seats was in 1947. Yet they just reelected Nancy Pelosi as their leader who has presided over a loss of 62 seats from a high of 256 seats during her tenure. And right after being reelected she went on Meet the Press and made the statement that the Democrats don't need to change.

As for the Senate in 2017 the Democrats will hold 48 seats. Thats a gain of two seats in the last election. An election in which the Republicans had to defend 24 seats and the Democrats only 10. That's pathetic. Just an even split of the elections would have meant a pickup of 7 seats.

And who do they elect as minority leader?

Chuck The Fuck Schumer.

A corporate whore from Hell who made the infamous statement:

“For every blue-collar Democrat we lose in western Pennsylvania, we will pick up two moderate Republicans in the suburbs in Philadelphia, and you can repeat that in Ohio and Illinois and Wisconsin.”

Way to throw the working class under the bus Chuck!

And guess what?

In 2018 the scenario in the Senate will be reversed. The Democrats will be defending 25 seats, while the Republicans will only have eight up for grabs. How's that for being Fucked?

And for the grand finale, their Corporate Whore Presidential Candidate Hillary ""WHY AM I NOT 50 POINTS AHEAD?" Clinton, lost the White House to Donald Trump.

I think this video goes a long way towards explaining it.

The Dems may just be doomed if new leadership does not arise with a paradigm shift. Their strategy against Trump continues along the same path that failed during the election and if/when it fails in the mid terms they will continue to blame and demonize Trump. The fear of him is palpable here.

Let's not forget Pelosi elected again as minority leader whose credibility expired back in 2010. These people only care about themselves and their cohorts.

The pendulum swings both ways. Trump and his GOP clowns on the hill will fuck things up badly enough that the other side will again have their chance to do the same.

He hasn't even been sworn in yet and already he is making a mess of things.

The Carrier deal he took credit for wasn't all that he said it was.

Actually he hasn't "screwed up" anything, unless you call causing Hillarybot heads to explode as "screwing up". I call that entertaining myself.

Appointing Steve Bannon and Michael Flynn to the White House staff is a screw-up of epic proportions, unless you want national security to be in the hands of a conspiracy theorist and a propagandist. Ben Carson to HUD is also a bad joke, as is an anti-labor guy appointed to head DOL. I guess you're also thrilled with the herd of Goldman Sachs people he appointed too, just weeks after completely trashing Goldman Sachs.

Appointments don't mean shit to me. I could give a rats ass whose warming a chair in what office in Washington.

I care about what gets done or doesn't get done regarding stuff that impacts the lives of regular people.

He's already done a lot to ease tensions between the US and Russia. That's a big plus for me. He's also put the corporations on notice (I'm thinking Boeing withe that Air Force One Contract) that there is a new Sheriff in town whose not afraid to take them on. And he's put China on notice too.

He's a charismatic person like Obama, but unlike Obama he has already shown me that he is not afraid to use the Bully Pulpit to sway public opinion, which when you come right down to it is one of the main tools of the Presidency.

I can still remember the way Regan came on national TV and made his direct appeal to the public to pressure congress to get behind his tax cut plan. Did Obama ever do anything like that? Hell no. He was an empty suit, either too much of a wimp, or too much of a sell out, or both.
So Hell yeah, I'm looking forward to a Trump Presidency. Shits gonna happen. It may be good shit, or it may be bad shit, but at least it will be shit instead of the constipation we've had for the past eight years.

It seems you have bought into der Trumpenfuher's claim that only he alone can do it. If so, why doesn't he downsize the Federal government down to himself and his Twitter machine?
